Redundancy Options

Qudo allows users to build in levels of resilience that are not possible at any cost on traditional PBX systems. These options are best mapped out depending on specific site requirements but include a mix of the following;

  • Local Site Survivability – When the WAN circuit is unavailable, the router switches to survivability mode to support internal calls.
  • Local ISDN – Extends survivability to outbound calling.
  • Redundant WAN Links – In the same way that customers take different ISDN providers, Qudo can utilise different WAN circuit providers.
  • Redundant Site Router – An optional fail over device should the primary router fail.
  • Inbound Call Redirect – If there is an outage with the WAN circuit [in the same way that BT have lines down] inbound calls can be redirected to user mobiles.
